11 Years later, after[c] Moses had grown up, he went out to his own people,[d] and took notice of their heavy burdens. He saw an Egyptian beating up a Hebrew, one of his own people.[e] 12 Looking around and seeing no one else, he killed[f] the Egyptian and hid him in the sand.
